For our parents
Mah’s joint is about taking care of our parents and the atrocity of a disease that is Alzheimer’s. It’s about the unfortunate time when we have to be a parent to our parents.
I think it’s one of the most testing times of our lives, because in those moments things don’t get easier, they in fact get progressively harder like a sinking ship. There is no positive light at the end of the tunnel, and there is no reward (fwiw there are memories that we’ll have for the rest of our lives).
Relevant to Alzheimer’s
And there's a house she doesn't know that you take care of
There's a light she doesn't know that you keep on
There's a "sorry" that you faked to keep her happy
When she thinks she hasn't seen you in so long
